International Sports Management Limited and Neil Fairbrother have today announced that Neil will be leaving ISM to set up a new management company, Phoenix Management Group Limited.
Phoenix Management will be dedicated to representing cricketers, including some of the leading cricketers in the English game. Neil has worked with ISM for over 20 years and together they have developed a leading cricket management company that has looked after the likes of Michael Vaughan, Paul Collingwood, Stuart Broad, Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler and current England Test captain, Joe Root.
ISM will continue to run its existing sports representation business whilst forging ahead with new business opportunities.
“I have really enjoyed my time at ISM. I would like to thank Chubby and everybody involved with ISM over the years for all their support and assistance in looking after some of the biggest cricketing names in the last 20 years. I now look forward to a new chapter in my professional life with Phoenix Management Group - an exciting time," said Neil Fairbrother, Founder of Phoenix Management.
ISM founder Chubby Chandler commented: “We are sorry to see Neil leave after 20 great years together, but as a friend and as an independent investor in the new Phoenix Management business all of us at ISM wish him every success with his new venture.”
Current England one day international, Jos Buttler, commented: “I would like to thank ISM for the dedication and support they have shown in representing me as I have developed my cricketing career over the last few years. I now look forward to working with Neil again at Phoenix Management.”
